For starters, the Clifton 9 provides three millimeters more stack height (32 mm) than the Clifton 8 (29 mm). Although there’s more height, Hoka designed the Clifton 9 to weigh less than the previous model. A Clifton 9 men’s size 9 weighs 8.7 ounces, and a Clifton 8 weighs 8.9 ounces.
