Oct 29th 2020. #1. Hi all, On my server that I've created for my friends and me, we've had a few issues with our nether portals. Whenever we enter the nether through our portal and leave through the same one, it will take us to a portal in the middle of the ocean that none of us created. I tried destroying the portal so the only one left in our Entities should pass through Nether Portals. I feel this would not be too difficult and in the end would be a huge improvement in making the Nether useful beyond just obtaining Potion materials and Fast Travel. When an Entity (such as a Cow, Minecart, Ghast) comes in contact with a Nether Portal they will pass through into the appropriate
Either switch to version 1.16.5 or check the mod authors website for a 1.16.4 version. I have tried to install a 1.16.4 version but when I install it on aternos, it would always crash the server. Make sure you have the right Minecraft version on your server (1.16.5) and the correct BetterNether version (also 1.16.5) installed. Hi!

After the update, players can no longer teleport to the Nether. The animation on the portal continues ad naseum and manually teleporting via /execute results in the server saying that Minecraft:the_nether is unknown. I attempted to delete DIM-1 and DIM in the world files to force the Nether to regenerate manually, but the issue persists.

When I make a portal in one world (funtime) and go in it it takes me to the nether like normal, but when I go back thru it spawns a nether portal in a different world (main) and spawns me there. Both worlds are normal. my config settings are: ==: com.onarandombox.MultiverseCore.MultiverseCoreConfiguration enforceaccess: 'false' prefixchat: 'true'
If you enter a portal in the nether at 100/100, it will multiply those numbers by 8 and check if there is a portal at 800/800. If it finds one, it will spawn you there. If not, it will create a new one. This is not on a "per portal"-basis, but on a "per block"-basis. If you have a 2-wide portal in the nether at 100/100 and 2 portals in the Then I tried deleting my .minecraft, re-installing the game, and with no mods or less than 49 mods the Nether worked, and so I installed one mod or a group of related mods, opened the game and checked if the Nether was loading and it loaded, until I reached FTB Chunks, I removed it (taking the quantity below 49) and it didn't go back to loading See title. DirectPortals is the only plugin I've found claiming to fix Nether portal crosslinking and the plugin isn't supported for 1.14+ so I cannot use it on my 1.15 server. I'd rather not restrict my player's nether portal usage but it's important that portals not be able to cross link as my server's economy relies on players being unable
In other words, you can move the portal about 1000 blocks in the overworld and it may still find the portal in the nether. The other way around, if you move the portal on the nether side by more than 16 blocks, it will no longer find the same overworld portal. Long story short: Divide the overworld portal's X/Z coordinates by 8 and move the
