I've been using LRP Effaclar Duo for about two weeks and it has been drying out my skin and skin feels a lot tighter in as little as 30 mins after applying. I have oily skin and used to use basic nivea moisturiser and this. never happened before. Before moisturising i just use the effaclar cleanser. Is this normal? Has anyone tried the La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo Dual Acne Treatment with Benzoyl Peroxide? Is this a spot treatment? I’ve always used Proactiv emergency blemish relief, but I’m interested in trying this LRP product. It helps with the occasional spot but thats it. It worked for me and I use the other Effaclar products as well. But I don't have acne, just ocasional spots that got worse with the use of masks. They launched a new serum from this line that is targeted for acne I think, so maybe it's an option

Basically the title says it all. Can I use this cream (La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo+) as a base for my makeup? I use it in the morning and evening because I started getting a lot of pimples lately, but sometimes when I go out I want to put it under my makeup. Does it make my makeup look bad?
