Hello Andy, having rechecked your model, I don't think that there is a non-return valve fitted on the front screen wash. As you probably know the front and rear use the same pump it just runs in a different direction depending which screen needs washed.

I have the Volvo xc60 recharge - CarPlay was a blank /black screen all week. Just got off phone with tech support. Hold the oval home button down and do not release as the system “cleans” and reboots. It took a minute or longer of holding button but then Home Screen reappeared and apply CarPlay was back! Re-enabling the sensors, manually winding the windows up a bit at a time, then with the one touch, and then doing the 4x up down method, on each window in turn. Start to finish was 15 minutes each window, as I watched them do it. Quote.
